Step 1: Logo and company contact information

To ensure an optimal presentation of your company profile on wer liefert was (wlw), the following information is required:

• Company name:
  Once registered, your company name cannot be altered. Should you wish to change your company's name, please contact our customer care at kundenservice@wlw.com.

• VAT number:
  The VAT number is a mandatory requirement and can be updated as needed. Please ensure that no spaces, periods, or special characters are used when entering it.

Address

• Country:
  The country field is mandatory and cannot be edited. It is automatically assigned and cannot be changed later.

• Street and number:
  This is a mandatory field and can be edited. The maximum length is 255 characters. Make sure to provide the full address.

• Address Line 2 (Optional):
  You can use this optional field to provide additional information, such as building names or floors, with a maximum of 55 characters.

• Zip code:
  This is a mandatory field. Ensure that the postal code is correct.

• City:
  This field is mandatory and can be edited. Enter the name of the city where your company is located.

• County:
  For companies in Italy or the UK, this is a mandatory field. It can be edited and has a maximum length of 255 characters.

Main contact

• Email:
  This is a mandatory field and can be edited. The email address must contain an "@" symbol and a dot.

• Website (Optional):
  This field is optional and can be edited. Ensure that the website contains a valid domain.

• Phone number (Optional): 
  This field is optional. Please use the correct country code and avoid spaces.

Step 2: Add additional contact persons

• Contacts:
  You can easily add, modify, or remove contacts as necessary to align with your company's needs.

• Function/Department:
  You can select the role of the contact person from a list. This is optional.

• Salutation:
  This is a mandatory field. Make sure to select the appropriate title for the contact person.

• First & Last name:
  These fields are mandatory. Both the first name and last name of the contact must be provided.

• Email:
  This is a mandatory field. Each contact can only have one email address.

• Phone number:
  This is an optional field. Each contact can have only one phone number. Please use the correct country code and avoid spaces.

Step 3: Define your business

• Number of employees:
  This is a mandatory field. You will need to choose from the predefined categories.

• Founding year (Optional):
  This is an optional field that can be edited. Only four-digit numbers are permitted, and the year must not exceed the current year.

• Company type:
  This is a mandatory field. You will need to select the main activity of your business from several available options.

• Business sector:
  This is a mandatory field. You must select the appropriate sector from the dropdown-menu.

• Company description:
  This mandatory field allows you to provide a detailed description of your company. Strive to create an engaging and comprehensive overview that gives potential buyers a clear and positive impression. Include key information about your products or services, company history, strategic goals, corporate culture, and overall mission. The description should not exceed 1,500 characters. Once saved, this content will be automatically translated into multiple languages. 

Step 4: Company delivery information

• Delivery area:
  This is a mandatory and editable field. You can only select one delivery area. 

• Export zones:
  Export zones are only available if you select "Europe-wide" or "Worldwide" as your delivery area. This is an optional, editable field, and you can make multiple selections if needed.

Examples:

• • Europe-wide: The default selections are "European Union" and "Other European countries". 

  • Worldwide: All options are preselected by default.

• Please note: By default, your visibility includes the countries of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

• By clicking the pencil icon next to the respective export zone, you have the option to deselect individual countries if you do not wish to be visible in those target markets.
