Website Leads integration in Google Tag Manager

To add the website leads identification number to the Google Tag Manager, use our instructions in 9 steps.

Step 1: Prepare your identification number

To integrate the pixel code into your website, you will need your unique identification number, which you can obtain from wlw.

  • Option 1: You already have an account:

Download the pixel code using the following link (login required): Obtain Pixel Code

  • Option 2: You don’t have an account yet:

If you don't have an account, you can create a new one here. Alternatively, you can complete the registration directly on our homepage at wlw.de.

Click 'Login' in the top right corner and select 'Create login details for your company profile' to set up your new account.

Step 2: Install and open the Google Tag Manager

Open the Google Tag Manager after successfully setting it up. You can find more information about the Google Tag Manager on the Google Support page.
Once the Tag Manager is installed and set up, you can use your individual identification number in Google Tag Manager by following these instructions.

You can also refer to the instructions in the video.

Step 3: Navigate to the 'Templates' page.

Open the Google Tag Manager and go to the 'Templates' page in the navigation.

Step 4: Select the 'Visable Website Leads' template

On the 'Templates' page, click on the search field in the 'Tag Template' container.  You can easily search for the name and select the template using the search box. Type in 'Visable Website Leads' and select 'Visable Website Leads' template. Confirm the change one more time.

Step 5: Add tag

Now switch to the 'Tags' page in the navigation and add a new tag. Give it a meaningful name that you associate directly with the Website Leads product. Under Configuration, select 'Visable Website Leads'.

Step 6: Insert identification number

After you have selected the correct tag, you can insert your personal identification number in the field provided. Set the triggering to 'All pages' so that the visitor identification can take place on all (sub)pages. Save the settings.

Step 7: Check

Click on 'Preview' and enter your URL. A connection is now established. You can then also check the function via the console in the browser.

Step 8: Finish

If you click on the 'Transfer' button, the changes are applied. Then click 'Publish'. Website Leads is now active.
