Step 1: Provide your identification number
To integrate the pixel code into your website, you will need your unique identification number provided by wer liefert was (wlw).
If you already have an account, simply go to your Website Leads settings in your visitor list and download your pixel code or identification number.
If you do not yet have an account, you will first need to register:
- Click 'Login' at the top right, enter your email address, and click 'Continue'. You will be redirected to a registration form.
- Fill out the required fields and click 'Register'. You will then receive a verification code via email. Enter this code and click 'Verify code'.
- Your account will now be created.
Tip: If you need detailed instructions for creating an account, you can find them here in our Help Center article.
Step 2: Insert the pixel code into WordPress
If you are using an older WordPress version and your website is not hosted on wordpress.com (e.g., your own webspace):- Log in to WordPress.
- Go to 'Appearance' in the left navigation bar, then select 'Theme Editor'.
- Select 'Theme Footer' and insert the pixel code directly before the closing tag.
- Save your changes.
If your website is hosted on wordpress.com:
- Install a plugin (e.g., WP Code).
- Add the pixel code in the plugin under 'Code Snippets' and activate the snippet.
- In the menu, search and enter the plugin name (the suggested plugin is only an example. Visable accepts no liability. Choosing the plugin is your responsibility). Then click 'Install now' for the chosen plugin.
- In the left navigation bar, select the new menu item 'Code Snippets' and then the submenu '+ Add Snippet'.
- Click 'Use snippet' and add the Visable Website Leads pixel code.
- After saving your snippet, you must update and activate it.
If you are using a newer WordPress version, but your website is not hosted on wordpress.com:
- Install a plugin (as described in version 2).
- Insert the pixel code, as WordPress prevents JavaScript publication without plugins.
Step 3: Update your privacy policy
Finally, update your privacy policy to complete the installation. We explain here how you can do this.
