Add products via Shop Import

The shop import feature enables you to seamlessly and efficiently transfer your products and services from your online shop into your wer liefert was (wlw) profile.

Simply follow this structured step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Access 'Products and Services'

Log into your account, go to 'Products and Services'.

Step 2: Open the import menu

Select the 'Import' button to access the import menu 

Step 3: Select the Shop system

Select 'Shop Import' from the pop-up and then select your preferred shop system.

Below, you'll find step-by-step instructions for each supported shop system:

Import through Magento

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel
  2. Navigate to 'System' > 'Data Transfers' > 'Export'
  3. Select Entity Type: 'Products'
  4. Select CSV as format and click 'Next'
  5. File will be generated

Import through Shopify

  1. Log in to the Shopify admin
  2. Open products
  3. Click 'Export' in the top right corner
  4. Select all products
  5. Choose CSV format
  6. Start exporting

Import through Wix

  1. Log in to the Wix dashboard
  2. View products
  3. Click 'More actions' in the top right corner
  4. Export CSV file
  5. File will download automatically

Import through WooCommerce

  1. Log in to the WordPress backend
  2. Select products in the left menu
  3. Click on 'Export' at the top
  4. Select desired fields
  5. Export CSV

Import through Shopware

  1. Log in to the Shopware admin
  2. Open the 'Import/Export' module (must be
    installed if necessary)
  3. Select the export profile 'Product Export'
  4. Click on 'Start Export'
  5. Download file 

Once your file has been exported, you’re ready to begin the import process.

Tip: We recommend exporting your products in Excel format (.xlsx or .xls). If the export is done as CSV and the file is to be opened or edited in Excel, it must be saved in the format “CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited)”

Step 4: Import your export file to wer liefert was (wlw)

Return to the wer liefert was (wlw) import pop-up, select 'Shop Import', upload your Excel file (.xlsx or .xls), and select desired language and currency of your products and services.

Important: To ensure a successful product import, maintain the original file structure. Column names and headers must remain unchanged. You may update product data within each row, but altering headers will prevent a successful import.

Step 5: Finish

Your products are successfully imported now.

You will then see the number of products published immediately—these represent all products that meet the mandatory criteria.

To publish the remaining products saved as drafts, complete any missing information required for publication.
