Response Rate and Response Time
Increase your visibility with quick and complete answers
Searching buyers expect prompt feedback. In order to meet these requirements, we provide you as a supplier and the visitors to your profile with detailed information about your response behaviour.
Two important metrics: Response rate and response time
Response rate and response time play an important role in the visibility and placement of your profile on our platform.
Suppliers who respond quickly and communicate reliably benefit from a favoured placement in the search results and generate more qualified leads. You can track these key figures at any time in your Business Insights.
What is the response rate, and how can I improve it?
The response rate is visible to all users and provides information on how many direct messages and Requests for Quotes to your company have received an initial response from you within the last 90 days.
How you can improve your response rate:
- Always respond to incoming requests.
- Aim for a response rate of 100 %. Check your messages regularly and make sure that all direct messages from the last 90 days have received a first response.
What is the response time, and how can I improve it?
The response time is only visible to you and indicates how quickly your company responds to new requests for the first time. The value is calculated from the average of the fastest 80 % of your response times within the last 90 days. Companies that respond particularly quickly benefit from a certificate and improved ranking opportunities.
How to improve your response time:
- Answer incoming requests as quickly as possible.
Tip: If you need more time for a full response, thank the buyer first and let them know that you will get back to them soon.
